If there is interest, I will be publishing some 72x72 versions of some icons for use on android phones.  I will probably keep them as a single pack and just update that, since individual deviations for a mere resize is probably not worth it.  If anyone is still checking this space, let me know if you would like to see specific icons done for android!

Just in case anyone was going to send me messages on this...

It seems like Weather.com changed their XML feed for weather.  A workaround has not been posted yet, as far as I am aware, and I dont know how to deal with this myself.

If anyone here knows, please let me know so I can update the config.  Thanks.

Update: I have refitted this config to work with PageScraper/ReadINI and the new XML feed from Weather.com.  I will tweak it some more and try to upload it.  In order to use it, you MUST have your own PartnerID and License Key, which has to be added through the Samurize Config PageScraper configuration.  I dont think my own partnerid/license key will be suitable if many people start to use this, as it will see me as having too many requests for the data.

When I distribute this, I will do so with instructions on how to get your own id/license for the weather.com xml feed.

The icons are almost done.  All of the standard icons, moon phases, and the following additional icons have been completed in 48x48 (see bottom of post).

Now...what about the smaller sizes?  I don't have the SVGs for the existing weather icons for those smaller icon sizes, and recreating them from scratch would be a seeming waste of time.

Also, some have suggested severe weather icons, which I attempted to address in the following icons, but what else could we use that isn't listen here?  Earthquake?  Volcano?  This might be too much for weather conditions that are rarely encountered...

Let me know.  If I should release these as separate collections, that might work too.

Foggy
Hazy
Dusty
Smoggy
High Wind
High Wind+Rain
Medium Wind
Medium Wind+Rain
Low Wind
Low Wind+Rain
Tornado
Tornado Warning
Tornado Watch
Hail
Flood
Flood Watch
Flood Warning

Well, I was going to keep this a surprise for the people who keep up with my work, but I want to get some feedback (or perhaps contributions from others, if any of you feel up to the task), as to some of the icons.  The pack of icons will be done using the newer, stylish GNOME weather icons as their base, but with a considerable number of derivations.  However, some are really not fun coming up with appropriate looks for...

The ones I am not happy with are as follows:
Foggy
Hazy
Dusty
Smoggy
High Wind
High Wind+Rain
Medium Wind
Medium  Wind+Rain
Low Wind
Low Wind+Rain
Tornado
Tornado Warning
Tornado Watch
Hail
Flood
Flood Watch
Flood Warning

ANY suggestions are very welcome, it would be awesome to get a really solid weather icon pack going on.  You can preview what I already have for these icons in the old Tango Weather pack I did a while back, as I have not yet began to work on these icons at all.

Also, knowing what license these need to be released under would be good.  (or not at all?  I think GNOME is GPLv2, but I'm not sure the implications of that for derivative works).

I have been working on creating a last.fm Tango icon for a little while now, and nothing I have made looks right.  Through a couple iterations I have produced a "tile"-type icon with the typical "as" as the main graphic, and a very nice but generic-looking icon for "music charts".  I like how the second one came out, but its really not specific enough for it to be easily understandable and has absolutely no indication that it relates to last.fm in any fashion, while the first icon just didn't come out right at all.

Does anyone out there have any suggestions on how to go about a last.fm icon?  I know I mainly use last.fm to track what I listen to, but it has a wide variety of uses which may not be possible to wrap up into one icon.

Should it be a "music aggregator", like music being transferred to some kind of database?  Maybe a pen writing a musical note on a piece of paper?

Just looking for ideas here, if anyone has some please leave them in the comments.
